I don't have room on my allotment for a flower bed but I am trying to get more varieties over on the bee plot although they aren't for me to cut but for the bees to forage on! I do love flowers but don't tend to have cut flowers in the house as unfortunately I am allergic to most of the pollen!!Tanya.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08436595615435609755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7980536948969347626.post-3531998048242743572015-07-23T19:46:54.510+01:002015-07-23T19:46:54.510+01:00Thanks Anna. It seeded everywhere and when it got to a decent size was hard work digging out of my heavy clay soil. Now I'm a lot stricter with it and remove the seedlings as soon as I can. Plus cut back to stop it setting seed in the first place. It's incredible and much less straggly with an amazing scent. They do really great value plug plants. Larkspur are another to try and over winter. I'm going to try more autumn sown plants this year. I just don't have the space in spring to grow everything from seed. This year has been bonkers. I'm also going to try much more direct sowing next year. Have a lovely weekend.
