Never mind, we have some at the allotment and will start another few crowns off in our new garden. Enjoy yours!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7980536948969347626.post-4101869078953490612013-03-21T18:17:42.131+00:002013-03-21T18:17:42.131+00:00Hi Portia, even though I've been growing veg f...Hi Portia, even though I've been growing veg for a few years now I'm still learning and each year seems to be slightly different as its always a bit of a battle with the weather. Its 'Timperley Early' which is a good Northern variety supposed to cope with cold, which is good as its been bitter here this week. Your rhubarb is much further on than mine. Do you know what variety it is? I'm thinking of getting an early one to replace some of mine to give me a longer season.wellywomanhttp://www.wellywoman.wordpess.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7980536948969347626.post-10072438746682096252013-03-11T13:06:45.937+00:002013-03-11T13:06:45.937+00:00I was at my plot last weekend too. We managed to get quite a bit done, but everything's on hold again as the winter weather has returned. I'm hoping to plan my winter crops better this year too. My plot is completely empty now, so I'm hoping to have more in the ground this year to see me through to spring.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.com
