Dunham Massey

Have been a bit lax in posting to the blog in the last few weeks. I've been off work and trying to catch up with jobs at home and at the allotment. But on Good Friday went to visit Dunham Massey, near Altrincham, with my sisters. We went round the hall first which is a lovely Georgian building, but my favourite bit is obviously the gardens!
Here is a photo of my sisters, Sally, Jane, Helen and Diane, from left to right, next to a very fragrant wisteria.

The bluebells were in full bloom.
The garden is famous now for its winter garden, but it also has a good collection of rhododendrons and azaleas.
There is some nice planting along the stream.

The park estate has a lot of deer, some of which are very tame, can you spot the deer in this photo?
